Context
The VUB bank is one of the largest banks in Slovakia. They have a charity that supports cultural, environmental and other socially orientated projects. Back in 2017 they decided to update the hall interior of their headquarters in Bratislava and show the variety of projects they support.
Task
Create a single 13x3m artwork in company colours that would show different areas of the VUB charity activity & unite them under the motto “Giving a helping hand”. The artwork should include logo Nadacia VUB, visual representation of a “helping hand”. The design should account for 2 TV screens on the wall on which there will be running presentations of projects supported by the charity.
Illustration style
Due to the complexity of composition & limitation to very bright & intense company colours I decided to use linework and dynamic composition. This approach allowed to keep wall visually attractive and show all the different compositions & situations without overpowering the interior space or distracting attention from information in presentations on the TV screens.
Separate scenes of the illustration are united into a single landscape through architectural & environmental elements such as archways, hills & roads.

Realisation
Designs were created digitally in vector, printed & pasted on the walls.
Further development
An adaptation of the design was later used for other branches. Based on this concept also poster designs were created for different occasions.
